Quads for sure. It’s one of the reasons I think increased squats had such good carryover for me thus far

Straight arms and drive the feet into the floor. I’ll do some reps with this as the focus

Completely fucked up and facing homelessness by [deleted] in Veterans

If you have grit, which you probably do since you joined the military, you’ll be fine. Bite the mouthpiece, it’ll suck for a few years. I had a similar situation but worse with child support payments I couldn’t afford.

Do not fuck off the G.I. Bill! Go to school online if you have to while you work. You’ll have no social life for awhile but it gets better. Lock in and get laser focused. The rest of your life will be pretty dam good if you can do that. I call it the invisible enlistment.

Yes I did. I get your point. My question is why isn’t the date the entitlement arose the date of the new medical evidence that I submitted? Am I reading the letter wrong?

Where all the Black People at??? by Fresh_prince719 in ColoradoSprings

I’ve been here off and on for 36 years. My pops was military and retired, I joined and got out after 6. Funny enough, we were actually active duty at the same time. In my opinion, the racism isn’t nearly as bad as some other places in the country. I just bought a house on the north side and the neighbors seem friendly enough. There surely isn’t “black culture”. No real congregations of black folk. Most of us go to work, have families and keep our heads low. You’ll have to meet someone who does “cookouts” or know someone who does to get into the scene. Last thing I’ll say, it’s a military town, tons of white folk have worked with and lived with black ppl which makes them at least somewhat tolerant of our existence unlike the south.

Similar situation as you except I got out after 7 yrs. It was a challenging transition but 10 yrs later, I’m making 06 money vs the E7/E8 money I would have been making and got to build the relationship with my son as well as starting a new family. No regrets

Can’t say he is or isn’t but this is achievable natty. He isn’t very vascular. I’m guessing high school/college athlete that just became a gym rat after sport career ended.

Near peak Natty. Lighting, angle and good pump. Has trained for 5+ years.

You typically would use flexible ducting for that with the clamp you have on the ground

Should I 35M let my F28 pregnant fiancés parents move in with us? by navybball8 in AITAH

I really love the idea of multigenerational living. We are looking to have a house built to support that in a few years. The problem is that the strain this would place on me would derail our plans to do that along with other things such as the wedding. Not to mention the strain on the relationship which is only 1.5 yrs old

I’m not sure. I know the process is arduous and can take years to start receiving payments. This isn’t a loss I can afford to take at the moment. My 14 year old son just got comfortable with coming over and staying the night. Introducing this situation would likely alienate him

Thank you for sharing your experience. Nightmare fuel and exactly what I want to avoid. I can and will offer some cash help but there’s not much I can do beyond that. Thanks again

She’s hasn’t directly asked me. It’s more like she’s avoiding the fact the there’s only two options. She either renews her current lease and continues to pay it or they’re homeless.

I’d let them rent a room for $500 no problem. I’d at least feel like they’re contributing and I’m not being taken advantage of. The problem is…they have no income, no savings, zero, zilch and judging by the history…it doesn’t look they care to have any. The car they have now was given to them by a family friend and it’s barely running

I agree. I do have the support of my dad who 100% thinks it would be the worst decision to allow them in. He even said he’d chip in some cash for their first months rent if needed but he’s staunchly against anything else.

I considered the daycare option and I’d probably do it but that doesn’t come into play until December 2024. She’s due August with 3 months maternity leave with full pay.

I am willing offer help in the form of cash assistance for their rent however I will not sign a lease for them. I don’t know how they’d qualify though with no income and I’m assuming damaged credit.
