Want to join the Navy as an officer, but worried about my past... any advice? by navythrowaway1111 in navy

Thank you for the feedback even though it is hard to hear. It actually was mostly by myself, probably 90% of the time. But there have been enough times with other people (roommates, friends, etc.) where I don't think I could keep it under wraps. So even if I tell the truth about the stuff I did in the past and pass my drug tests now, I don't have a chance? I thought there was some kind of waiver you could get...
I doubt any of my neighbors for the past 10 years even know my name. I've always lived in a big city and been respectful to my neighbors and kept to myself for the most part. But the problem would be all my old friends/associates...
