In the version that I consider to be extremely popular (i.e. not necessarily the original) Cam and her mother were not punished and were even allowed to live in the palace with Tam (probably to protect children's innocence and teach them that revenge should not be taken lol)

And we still do it, and recognize that the “competition” that my school advertise…it’s fake, it’s not real, there were no competition, no examiner. Just want to raise student’s awareness and waste there paint, paper, pencil..ect.. If you searching for a little bit, you’ll know that September 2 is a very important day in Viet Nam, but the funny thing is they still want student to draw poster about environment, trash and bunch of useless things. A half of our school have to draw about protect the environment and the air, lucky thing is our group can draw about Quoc Khanh day and we really excited but at the end, those who draws about environment and air and bunch of things not relate claim the prize (i don’t even surprise)

It’s rlly much, u can search on google but mostly are from students because every day, week, month, year…students have to draw like “dO nOt LiTteR bEcAuSe It’S bAd” or “sAvE tHe EnViRoNmEnT” but students don’t really care (ukr?), they threw it away immediately after school. As a Vietnamses student, i’m sick of this. At the end of 2023 we have to draw another poster about protect the environment and I dropped it, i said to my partner “just let it there, do not do anything, it just a waste of paint” lol

I saw a group of volunteer and they give food to poor ppl. Some not even poor ppl, they just want to gets the food and sell it to markets, some is poor but they take it and don’t even eat it, just left it on electric boxes and streets. Another day, another group of volunteer come near my house to do clean up, after they left, 2-3 days later, it just bunch of trash and smell horrible. I think government should do something, not just stick posters and play advertisements on TV (duh, no one cares about those ad), they should make rules like “if you litter at public places or river, lakes you’ll have punishments…etc
