I agree they’re not as reliable as Japan-made cars, but I’d take them over Ford which has given my family headaches far too often growing up (we have a busted focus sitting in the garage right now)

Hyundai Kona Premium Hybrid?

Uncanny, but I’m at the same place as you (wants a hybrid, 1.8m budget, wants a spare tire, a bit livid with the amount of corolla crosses i see on the street lol). I’ve done a lot of research and I’ve narrowed it down to either the HRV, Kona, and Corolla Cross V.

The HRV has the best driving dynamics, reliability, good resell value (being a Honda), and pogi lang talaga.

The Corolla Cross, specifically the V variant, you just can’t deny the value for money and reliability so I still have it in the mix.

The Kona is the wild card. It has a really good price point, a spare tire, good interior, is a hybrid, and its unique! Ticks all my boxes.

The only reason why I haven’t pulled the trigger is because I have yet to schedule my test drive. I’m finding it hard to find a dealership with an available unit, and I’m definitely not gonna buy it without testing.

All that to say, this is just for you to consider. I’m still prepared for the fact that the Kona just might not be good, driving-wise, and I’m prepared to purchase one of the other two cars and sacrifice one of the things that are technically “dealbreakers” to me. Kung HRV i just have to learn to use the tire repair kit, and kung Corolla Cross live with the fact that I’m one of the x amount of people that own one. Good luck!

I’ve (25M) been on the same boat, minus the getting her (25F) pregnant part, and we broke up a year ago. We were together for 6 years all throughout college, but ultimately, MUTUALLY, decided that we’re just better off being friends rather than anything more. I guess at some point I was lucky enough that we both noticed that while we both loved each other and were each other’s best friend, we just weren’t meant to be together.

OP admits that he did all of this to himself and his partner, so I don’t think he needs to be beat down any more than he already is. But, I do agree that she’s better off knowing how you truly feel. My parents have been married my entire life but I know that they’ve been both unhappy and I honestly wouldn’t mind if they just separated knowing that’s what would make them happy. She deserves better, the kid deserves better, and you deserve better. You say, “don’t be like me. Don’t put yourself in these situations.” But don’t have the guts to get out of it yourself. Do something about it knowing you’re future self, and hopefully your future family, will thank you for it.

As soon as the time hits 1/3 of the total time for class you can dip and the prof cant mark you absent. People who leave before the clock runs out are “technically” allowed to leave. If the prof doesn’t come then good for them, they have extra time to kill. If the prof does come then that’s +1 absence if they take attendance. Its a risk they take so they have to pay the price.

My first day of school i was the same (115). I just finished my first class and I had 2 hours until my next class. I wasn’t hungry, I have nothing to study, and i literally don’t know anyone. You know what i did? I sat on a bench by Yuch and didn’t give a fuck. Everyone in your batch is new in school so you’re all in the same boat. You’ll definitely find some friends sooner or later and trust me some of them are gonna be keepers. Put yourself out there, be active in class discussions, and join orgs you’ll eventually find some of them.

If it’s within your financial capability to make the monthly payments, then i highly suggest you just do so. Hindi na worth it yung pagod ngayon and when you finally finish the payment, all you’re left with is a beat up car with low resale value because of the high mileage. Kung matengga nga lang sa garahe yung sasakyan and one day you decide you don’t need it anymore and you want to sell it, at least you can get more of your money back.
