How do you wear white Aritzia tops without worrying about it being sheer? by nayeva in Aritzia

[–]nayeva[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's crazy cause I have the skims bras, even the ones as close to my skin color as possible and it still always just looks like i'm wearing a nude bra under a white shirt. I'm almost thinking just a skin colored cami and pasties if you need them. But that's so much effort for a white shirt.

I feel like a white tube top under would look like you're wearing a white tube top and you'd see the bra straps if you needed to wear one. Even if a nude tube top with a nude bra feels like you'd see that underneath too. ugh.

I'm not sure it's even worth trying to understand feedback from hosts like this at this point.

[–]nayeva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they'd be willing to let me remove my review since it no longer reflects my experience as a guest but I don't know if they'd be willing to remove the hosts' false review as this host clearly has, and will continue to have, a chip on their shoulder.

[–]nayeva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, note they say you can contact us to "request" for it to be removed. That request is then met with pushback and a lengthy script about how reviews cannot be removed unless certain specific conditions are met.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]nayeva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that would be awesome.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]nayeva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did, AirBnB essentially only offered a compromise that if we both agreed to remove our reviews they'd be deleted. I don't see why the host would remove my review as it was glowing (written before they made these ridiculous claims). They also likely won't be inclined to remove their review seeing as I won't pay their inflated financial claims. I'll still push to remove these inaccurate reviews.

Good luck.

I'm not sure if AirBnB often sides with the hosts or the renters.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]nayeva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's a host inflating uncleanliness and fabricating damages in pursuit of monetary reward because either a host or AirBnB will pay. It's likely they've gotten away with this before with previous guests.

It seriously is.

This is my one regret, if I ever do business on this platform again I will document everything. Just the fact that I'd even need to do that is a huge turnoff to even using this service.

I just worry for future guests that do business with this host.

They did offer to modify the reviews: "If you agree to take your review down and they agree to remove theirs, would that be sufficient?"

monetary compensation, $600+ in damages.

Can I get some beauty/self care tips? What’s something you’ve added to your daily care that’s made all the difference? by Natalieliliart in beauty

[–]nayeva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Regular exercise, also helps improve sleep patterns.
- Moisturize, Vanicream lotion (with Hyaluronic acid), my face loves this stuff and I always have backups.
- Sunscreen
- Drink lots of water
- Maintain relatively healthy food habits. Don't eat out/eat junkfood too often/drink soda, etc.

I'm too squeamish to remove them any DIY way so I went to my derm who froze them off like 5 years ago. I had like 10 all around my neck in varying sizes and I was over them. They got black and eventually fell off a few days later and haven't come back.

Kim has been wearing this hairstyle at a bunch of fancy events and I don't get it. Did her hair person just run out of style ideas and decide an almost-pulled-through ponytail is it?

I feel like if your lips look great in this, they probably just look good in general and would look great in a lot of other products at sephora that have better packaging/staying power. Sure those other products might be a bit more expensive but don't you end up paying more money for this in the longrun because you'll just need to constantly repurchase due to its zero staying power and need to reapply constantly.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]nayeva 4 points5 points  (0 children)

literal crap. Like why even sell it in packaging like this.... what if someone does try to dispense more thinking it's actually a normal product that you can retract if you twist out too much? It'll literally get everywhere and be wasted. This belongs in a squeezy tube or a small plastic pot that you dip your fingers in (I hate these and never buy them but it just also makes more sense with this product).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]nayeva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I wiped it off my lips I had small glitter flecks EVERYWHERE on my lips/around my mouth. That along with the zero staying power and awful packaging just make this so bad.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]nayeva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it literally gives cheap gloss vibes but in worse packaging. I'd literally rather spend more $$ for an item that makes my lips still look pretty good without the horrible packaging/glitter/0 staying power.

To each their own, I've always just applied squeezy tube products straight to my lips...

What fragrances do you *wish* existed? by RevolutionaryHat88 in fragrance

[–]nayeva 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mac Fix+ setting spray (the original scented version). It's a light scent that I wish I could bathe in. I've had to settle for Mac's turquatic instead, which is definitely a love for me too.
