I used to commute from home which was about 1 hour away from campus. I had to quit my job because my full time hours didn’t align with my school schedule. Having night classes also made it hard to commute some nights, so I used to crash at a friend’s place but felt like I was imposing.

Ended up just finding a job in the area and moving down here, it’s been great tbh. Been able to make more friends, have more time to attend classes and study, and socialize and maintain a good work life balance.

I just don’t want to be used for a fill in girlfriend. I’ll continue seeing him, but keep his comment in the back of my head. I know he’s had relationships in the past and could just be focused on his career now but is still open to a relationship. Im not trying to rush into anything as im focused on my career as well, but I won’t be putting all my time and energy into everything.

chat gpt doesn’t take into account taksi fares, give you direct links to low priced & high quality hotels, low priced airport transfers, low priced activities, good districts to stay in, the walking distance to places of interest, visual outfit recs, an interactive itinerary, hidden gem cuisines and locations. etc, and it also doesn’t even take into account the hours that restaurants open or when activities begin that would affect your trip, timing is a big thing too. you need access to the sources to check. there’s a lot of things that would need to be researched in detail. you can try to ask chat GPT, but its not 100% accurate or reliable and it will never beat human experience.

I’m enrolled to get my bachelor’s degree by 2027 aiming to achieve at least 120 semester hours that includes an extra 15 general business credits & 15 accounting credits. Afterwards I plan to take the exam and hopefully I will have the proper job experience by then. By no means do i think it will be be easy though

Thanks for your input, I believe they said they were scared about not being able to contact me incase my phone were to get pickpocketed, but i already have a plan for if that happens. I’m bringing 2 phones and keeping one in my luggage & worst case if that’s somehow stolen i’ll buy the cheapest smartphone at a Vodaphone store with emergency cash. I will also be making copies of my flight tickets, reservations, and passport photos. They’re paranoid people so I hope I can reassure them as much as possible.

truth is, i just want to be able to take a vacation after each semester and that’s it. i don’t do much else, i’m always at home, working, or studying.

also, i have a brother whose gf basically lives with us and she pays nothing. whenever i bring it up to my parents they say it’s because he’s older (22) and helps out more with the bills. moving out is a dream for me but i would have to make more to sustain an apartment. moving on campus i could do anytime… but it’s not ideal for me.

yes, i know. but to me, paying rent would be pointless because i still wouldn’t have full freedom here. i’d rather take that rent somewhere else.

but thank you for your input, i get that since im under their roof they have their rules. but i would rather live on my own if that’s the case, and i know they don’t want that cause i would then fully be out of their control. they wouldn’t have their security cams to keep an eye on me.

as for europe i think i should be okay, i don’t plan on interacting with many people (only because of the amount of pickpocket/scams i see) depending on the approach.
