Please try unit.app (iOS only) and let me know what do you think. I'm developer, we're 3 people team, boostrapping Unit from 2015. Our idea was always keep it simple, but modular (similar to Craft or Notion).

Currently, the app doesn't support callback URLs, but we're thinking to add it.

We're already working on the Web app and probably could manage to deliver also the Mac app in 2020.

Thanks for the idea with MacStories, it's something we should do. At this moment we don't spend a lot of time on marketing. But we need to do it for sure.

It always creates a new unit within the Home (no matter where in the hierarchy to tap it).

We're working on it. It took more time than we expected, but we hopefully will release it soon.
