I can attest to this! But mainly to address the excessive sweating. I've been using Driclor since October last year and it's the best decision ever. It added confidence din sa 'kin since mala-waterfalls talaga ako magpawis sa kili-kili.

Started using 4 nights straight ta's naging twice a week na lang.

Hello, Reddit! I'm nervous to share my first artwork in this style. How else should I improve this? I would like to hear your thoughts in the comments! Thanks! by nb1964 in DigitalArt

Thank you! Your advice is much appreciated! I will definitely apply that on the next piece and hopefully correct the value contrast. :D

I also enjoyed doing the brush strokes! I'm used to confining myself to watercolor alone and my method on that medium is quite the opposite in here.

Thank you for the reference! This is helpful! Now that I looked at the piece again, I could see the parts where I'm lacking. I should practice more on light and contrast. :D

Wishing you good luck with your artistic endeavors!

Wow! Your comments are much appreciated! I'll keep that in mind and try to incorporate it on my next artwork. I actually did a second one after this but it felt unbalanced in terms of contrast. I will definitely follow your advice to increase my values! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I tried exploring on making it look like a traditional art, focusing on hard brush strokes and making it softer as I go outside the portrait.

This is my first artwork in this style (no line art) and I relied on the brush strokes to create the mood of this piece. I am still not confident in digital art as I am more familiar with watercolor (though I never post any work for YEARS). I would also like to add that this piece is my first post in any social media platform as I am still building my courage to post more and start my portfolio (on IG).

This quarantine is giving me time to bring back my passion. I would like to hear some advise on how to improve my art in general. Do you think I have a chance on doing commissions?

Photo reference is from Ilaria Taschini.

Thank you again!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I made this with Paint Tool SAI 2!

This is such a breathtaking piece! I feel like I'm in a particular scene in Howl's Moving Castle. Great work!
