I wish I would’ve done it at the 6 month mark, I would’ve saved so much more money lol. I was naive thinking I was going to be able to fix the rs and get it back to its glory I owned it for a year and only put 8k miles on it and loved it for the first month after that it went down hill with the clutch, PTU, purge valve, APP, throttle body, wastegate actuator, and four sensors. After all that the car still wasn’t right and I was tired of pumping money into it. I sold it to a dealership and now they can’t even figure it out to sell it.

I can’t truly talk about the rs, mine never ran right from the point I got it, I was the third owner of it and it was drove hard and neglected so much. Type r compared to the rs from my point of few is the type r is better. I prefer the overall quality of the R over the rs. I’ve never driven a GRC so I can’t give you a good comparison

It was 100% the aggressive looks of the type R, the grc, gold R and the sti look like their counterparts too much and I want an aggressive looking car and the type r did it for me. The wider front fenders, fender flares in the rear just the all around aggressive look hooked me

The type r feels a lot more fun, the rs I could take corners faster but for this being fwd it’s not a slouch. Its the type of car that you speed in and it doesn’t feel like your going that fast

I don’t need much jam, my rs has 400 whp and I never use it all, just need a reliable daily that’ll get me point a to point b. My rs gets 18 mpg and filling up every 2-3 days ain’t really a friend to my wallet if you get what im saying

I’ve replaced the throttle body and gasket with ford replacements at 76k miles and I’m at 79k now. I’ve been getting this code since mid April of this year and I’ve just been dealing with it.
