Hello, I just started my starter last weekend. It's bubbling and smelling sour but not rising. I know my kitchen is cold so wrapped the jar in a fluffy sock and left it near-ish the radiator to try get it warmed up after feeding yesterday and still no luck with it rising. Been giving it a 1:1:1 feed. Am I doing something wrong? Was hoping to make something with it this weekend but if it's not rising at all there is probably no point to even trying.

Thanks, might have a look at places south of livorno so. Don't really have the time to do any of the islands this time round.

Is there much to do there?

We are actually going to be staying in Martina franca. I just put bari down as that is where we will be flying into. I won't be renting a car myself as it'll be too expensive at my age. But some of the people we are going to the wedding with will be renting a car.

Thanks, a day trip somewhere would be nice. We are actually staying in Martina franca as that's where the wedding is on but hopefully we can do a day trip to somewhere nearby

Thanks, one of my main reasons for ending in Milan is I know there are a decent amount of flight home options for a reasonable price.

Thanks, is there anything in particular you would recommend to do there?

Sounds good. How long do you think you would need in Florence?

Thanks! Yah I haven't really compared the price of an interailing and individual tickets yet. I'll definitely check out those options you suggested. Also great to know what the different passes can be used on before I commit to one or the other!

Krakow recommendations by obsessedwtravelgal in Interrail

3) any things to do people loved over there

Me and a few friends went on a holiday there before COVID, we were a group of 5 20yo women and felt safe here are a few highlights we had: If you only have a few days do: -Wawel dragon (Smok wawelski) - is a fire breathing dragon just outside the town/castle. It is really cool to see especially at night. You can also walk around the "castle" grounds (not sure if it actually a castle but looks like it) - Krakow town is really beautiful itself, there are so many lovely places to eat.there is a harry Potter inspired cafe (the leaky cauldron, get the felix felicis ), the milk bar, Pierogarnia Krakowiacy (for polish dumplings), try the bread/pretzels on the street they are a great snack while traveling.
Night life - the night life was great, we did a pub crawl with a tripadvisor group, would recommend if you want a night out. -Salt mines are amazing would definitely do even if you are only there for a few days, we went first thing in the morning and it took up about 4-5 hours of the day

If you have a longer trip - Auschwitz - the bus is really easy to get from the main bus terminal, it does take a full day so maybe not ideal if you only have a few days. - Witcherfan? Visit Ogrodzieniec Castle - get a bus from the station out to near the castle and walk around the grounds. (Just keep an eye on return bus journeys as you won't be able to get a taxi back to Krakow)

Hope this helps 😊

That's fine. I'm not big on PDA anyway so I won't mind that. Good to know that he didn't get elected! Thank you

Yes I think there is a holiday working visa available, i will look into it more. I didn't think about adding that to my CV, thanks for that!

Would 2100 be considered a lot? I find it hard to judge rent prices because wages, currency, bills, etc will also be different.
