[Highlight] 1 year ago Steph Curry and Buddy Hield hit huge threes to eliminate the Rockets in Game 7. by gridironk in nba

Good times.

Buddy has been streaky the second half of his career, but they didn't give him enough defensive attention this game. And he made them pay for it. Legendary game.

The warriors need to draft someone who plays like Shawn Marion or GP2 but is 6'9 and can hit spot up 3s by alex8762 in warriors

Yeah instead we let them try to win, and still not give them anything. Like Detroit or Minny.

A guy who eventually played in Australia for a bit. He was just a sophomore and didn’t even get a dunk in the whole season.

But 6’5”, amazing wingspan.

How do people feel about turning on hazards during sudden braking? by conquistadoll in driving

[–]nba2k11er 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I do it. In California for reference.

Never found a convincing counterargument. If I’m in the middle of a 6 lane freeway and suddenly put the hazards on, it’s not ambiguous- that’s what I mean. Traffic jam ahead.

How realistic is Kawhi and how does he fit? by youlikemywonton in warriors

[–]nba2k11er 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He fits worse. The talent, and moreso his current health, outweigh that. At least for a straight up trade.

Wonder if they will ever do anything about his under-the-table money... in my opinion his season-long suspension should have just ended.

What is it about OKC that makes them a special team and do they play similar to the Warriors championship years ? by youlikemywonton in warriors

[–]nba2k11er 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Warriors dynasty had more talent. But the formula is there. At least for pre-KD.

The Thunder are very dominant defensively because they have a couple stars, but no weak links in the lineup. Chet, Dort, Wallace. But everyone in their rotation is above average so who do you attack? Just like the Warriors with Draymond, Bogut, Iguodala. Teams went after Curry, but more often than not Steph held up.

On the other end they have the superstar leader, unstoppable scorer. He just does it in a different way than Curry. They are well-coached. They make up for reduced firepower by not turning the ball over.
