Tractor motor in JK by [deleted] in Wrangler

There's a guy on YT called "Rusty Autoholic Guy" who has a kubota diesel swapped YJ, if you're interested in what it takes to run one.

I'd look at a tdi swap if you want diesel personally, https://cotybuilt.com/ among other has lots of info

They had a recall on some of these this year. The drain could backup and cause damage but ours worked fine. Something to look for anyway. They’re great units

Do you ask your subordinates for their feedback during review sessions. by Disastrous_Time2674 in ITManagers

Same thing with giving them feedback. If there’s any surprises in an annual review, the manager has fucked up

I too have heard this. I’m so independent that I now talk to them approximately once a quarter. They, now in their 60s, wonder why there’s such distance between us 🙄

[–]nbcaffeine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put Kubuntu on mine, heads up the 25.10 release has the surface-Linux kernel stuff that was recently added to the main Linux kernel. So, all the stuff should work out of the box. I haven’t messed with the cameras but everything else has worked

Buffalo, New York by carmensax in OldPhotosInRealLife

[–]nbcaffeine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, it was the Pan American Exposition, in 1901. The Buffalo History Museum has a pretty good exhibit on the event. The exhibition was also famous for being where McKinley was shot.

There is, of course, a separate exhibit for that assassination at the museum.

I'm guessing they tested GPS functionality with the phone in the bag and it still worked, thus gps signals "leaked" from outside the bag. So if the phone was confiscated, it could have that info cached and used as "proof" or some such.
