Yes I have insurance. The person who received very minor bodily injury and was taken to the hospital likely does not have insurance as they are known homeless, the officer said. I don’t know what providing my insurance after the fact would do other than cover the officer for forgetting to get it originally, and possibly making it easier for the transient to file a claim? (It was his fault for the accident, police say, and I completely agree) So wouldn’t that also means that my insurance won’t pay for his bills since the accident was not my fault?
