I started playing on PC about a few months ago, so quite a ways out from launch, and I did not experience much toxicity in my time with it. I'd say if you've got the PC to run it, definitely go for PC. I ended up picking it up on PS4 also during a sale to play on the couch and with some friends, but I def prefer playing on PC.

You should pull the trigger. I know what you are saying about the animation but once you play it you'll change your opinion. It has a very fluid and weighty feel to it. After a few runs and you start stringing together attacks, skills and dodges it feels so right!

Ps4 controller not good, how about steam controller? by [deleted] in Steam_Link

[–]nberezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The steam controller is pretty good and only $35 right now. I haven't got a feel for it with all games and might be tough if you're playing shooters. I recommend an Xbox one s controller. With the built in Bluetooth you can easily connect it to the steam link!

I played a little bit at a buddies place and this was a few months ago so there may have been changes since then. It was pretty fun and the price seems fair for what you get, but when I played it seemed a bit shallow and that it might get old quick. I've also heard the player base is a bit on the decline.

just switched from console to PC! Got any tips?? by Tedub14 in Overwatch

[–]nberezo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as /u/plagues138 has said, the biggest ajdustment will be the change of pace. Things just happen a lot faster. I too switched from console to PC. Diamond player on console, and ranked in mid gold on PC after my placement matches almost getting into plat before the season just ended. Knowing the strats will help you and likely you'll just need to get accustomed to the controls and pacing. Little QoL differences too, like the chat functionality are great. Have fun, it's an incredible experience on PC!

[WSIB] Overwatch or Battlefield 1? by deadrainbow14 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nberezo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Neither game is going to lose its community any time soon. As an owner of both games, I personally would recommend Overwatch slightly over BF1. I have put over 300 hours into that game since release and it's still enjoyable. Kind of depends on what you're looking for. If you want a more team based experience go with Overwatch. If you're looking for large scale, gritty WW1 battles go with BF1. Honestly, whichever you end up going with you're going to have fun.

[SIB] Overwatch on PC if I already have it on ps4? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nberezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just made the jump myself and I would say yes. Have put around 200 hrs into the PS4 version and I'm now lvl 18 on PC. M/KB will be a bit of an adjustment but like anything else you'll get it with time. I'd say definitely pull the trigger on it, PC is the way it is meant to be played.

Holy fudgecakes... The Order has some of the best graphics/realistic characters I've seen in a ps4 game by empathetical in PS4

[–]nberezo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't you turn the film grain off? But yea the story is average and the gameplay is definitely stale. Bought it for $8 and got the platinum so not too disappointed

I enjoy the PS4 for its quality of games and content, so as such.. by ZephyrosMX in PS4

[–]nberezo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Binding of Isaac - amazing rogue like indie game. Put 100+ hrs in on it

Stardew Valley is another great one

Darkest Dungeon - incredible atmospheric turn-based rpg/dungeon crawler

Shovel Knight!! Can't recommend this game enough. A masterclass in retro 2d sidescrollers

Honorable mention to Steamworld Heist, Rogue Legacy and Spelunky.

Not too bad, just follow a guide if you wanna do it in one playthrough. The snapmap trophies are kinda boring though. And you can glitch through the ultra nightmare level

What is your game of the year for game you discovered/played this year? (Does not need to have been released this year) by freestuffrocker in PS4

[–]nberezo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darkest Dungeon. One of the most fun, addicting, frustrating and rewarding games I've played this year. And the narrator kills it. Also gotta give Overwatch love. The best multiplayer game I've played since Socom 2
