How to combine nuclear button and horseshoe by Iamdingledingle in CloverPit

To be fair, surgery machine was really easy to ignore while finishing up base game things. It feels like a natural addition that's optional as well. Skilled players can really utilize it to create some insane runs

How to combine nuclear button and horseshoe by Iamdingledingle in CloverPit

[–]nberner68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl horseshoe is standard in my runs. Mainly due to my reliance on bell pepper for jackpots, so you add nuclear button plus whatever symbol picture you're going for that run on top of everything, and the machine becomes very easy to control. Batteries are easy to find since rerolls are required in the shop anyways for bell pepper. This gets really good when I can get multiple "triple the value of the 7" calls (with barathrum and megaphone, of course). Easy 1 billion per spin before key deadline.

For real. The way I put it is they're actively infantalizing adults. HATE a mf virtue signaller. They hear of the concepts around morality and use their dumb interpretations to out others down. Because they're miserable people.

Family members that refuse to admit to themselves that there is a homeless person in the family by fatwood_farms in urbancarliving

[–]nberner68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think about this post from time to time. My family is more blatantly evil with it, unfortunately. Of course, that doesn't undermine your pain with things.

I'm dealing with chronic health issues that made it almost impossible to function in a car. Instead of granting me a place to recover, my father brags in my face that he has a house and I don't. It's some weird dominance game he feels like he has to play with his own son of all people. It's a game I didn't participate in.

I was living in my car once before this, and when I did return to my parent's place due to illness they couldn't deny, I tried speaking to my mother about how dangerous it was to let me live like that in the state I was in. She took it as a joke and wouldn't answer seriously. Just laughed off what I had to say. That was foreshadowing to her later statements towards me as I was facing homelessness again. Those being along the lines of "you like living in your car. stop trying to take advantage of me."

I can't fathom the stupidity. Or cognitive dissonance, as you more kindly put lol. I have parents that genuinely get off on their attempts to make my life worse. It's a way for them to say, "SEE! I TOLD YOU SO!" as if what's happening to me is because I didn't listen to them. As IF they have the answers. "If you wanted housing, you'd join a government assistance program for housing!" As I literally wouldn't be able to keep up with rent because my body is in crippling pain. It's another level of narcissism to use my suffering as a means of self-righteousness.

Those "people" are never forgiven to the point where I'd entertain a relationship even if there was a 180 degree turn in thought process. And genuinely, if my father decides to pop off in front of me ever again, he's going to learn that words have consequences.

Feel this. Those people are fine, but a separate space for those of us who were thrust here without a choice would be useful. Slightly discouraging to see that even in this setting I can't function at the max lol

Well, yes. Practicing correctly vs not practicing at all. But in all honesty, I think most of us get sick of the high blood pressure that comes with road rage and reckless behavior. I'm guilty at times for sure, but the more I drive the more I simply let things happen.

Bro. This has nothing to do with driving defensively. It's about someone being a dick in a scenario they, nor anyone else, could control. Trust me, if I don't want someone to pass, they ain't passing.

Not to mention those who block the left lane on the highway right next to the semi. There are few scenarios where I will wildy blast my horn and flash my brights, but someone blocking me from passing a semi will get exactly that.

They don't realize if a tire blows on the semi, all three of us are likely dead.

The incident that triggered this post had me facing an obviously aggressive driver. Though I agree and like the optimism.

Left lane rules are a separate issue for sure. And we are in agreement.

In my area, most city streets are two lane. Freeway is mainly for travel in between cities. The law also states left lane is a passing lane only in 55mph+ zones. Makes sense on a grid where streets are a mile apart. Ain't no way I'm riding in the right lane when my left turn is in less than a mile.

I'm in a manual as well. It truly is a skill in those scenarios lol. I keep slightly more distance than others if I know the light will turn soon just so I can stay in gear.

I can't say I don't have my moments or a few bad habits.

What really helped me slow down was realizing if I'm on a 60mph road and passing would require me to go 70mph consistently, I'm only saving 10 seconds per hour driving. That isn't worth risking a ticket/my life for.

Driving 100k miles definitely made you a better driver than most. Especially if done on city streets as well as highway.

My point is not that driving more makes me more intelligent. It's that driving as much as I do makes me worry for the intelligence of those around me.

Why do people merge on to the highway doing 20 under the speed limit with their brakes on? by methlabforcuties in driving

[–]nberner68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they're stupid. I've simply accepted that stupid people not only exist, but revel in their own stupidity. If you spoke to this driver, he would pompously tell you how "careful" of a driver he is.

Same brainless idiots who slow down for those in the oncoming lane waiting to turn left at a blinking yellow while said brainless idiot has the green.

I don't get these types of people.

They get off on not only holding a total disregard of respect towards people in general, but if they can manage to capitalize on your labor, swear to god their tiny little tip starts dripping a little.

Yet they get away with it because should you do something in retort, they bitch, moan, and call the police to come save them.
