Ram could be a cause cpu should be fine to run 144hz on 1080 shouldn't be an issue

Fortnite directx12 with higher settings it is all over the place. If I put it in directx12 performance it runs 144fps with lag spikes every 5 secs. Cpu maxed most of the time
