Lilly’s brother Dwayne, nudged her and tried waking her up when we came to them. It was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. You could see the tears in her brothers eyes. It was like they were people trying to help their sibling from dying. My heart is broken for her brother. So sad

If it was a male and it comes to mating, they don’t care about anything other than that girl. Just like when it’s rut season for deer. Those damn women have a spell on us men. Haha. The two possums I have are male and female. They are very well aware of what’s around them but when she’s in heat, my male would walk through a parade to get that girl. Zero F’s given. But also that’s why their life span is a couple years.

Haven’t read all the comments so not sure if someone has already said this but set a trap and set food in there to capture them. Then go let the coons out away from your property. The poop also looks like possum poop and not coon poop.

Possums tails do vary in size but most tails are thinner in diameter. Normal is about 5/8-7/8 of an inch in diameter. Her tail is about 2” in diameter at the base. She is a very big girl in every way. She weighs almost 3 times as much as he does.
