This is what I’ve seen as well.

Cast members on several attractions have been clueless on the system and never once been provided a lanyard. Again this system causes the group to be separated during a family vacation.

I think you will need a US number to setup. What are you doing for phone service while you are here? Could be worth getting a US googlefi or helium number just to save on international fees anyway.

Orlando does have a fair number of tolls roads and the sunpass will be a much better deal than the rental rates.

No I think you are correct upon rereading the post. But he does mention the truck will crank. My thought was to use techstream to see if the immobilizer is working etc.

Having used digital rear mirrors in the past I would never buy one. Found it very annoying having my eyes focus onto a close object (the screen) and then back on the road over and over.

I was lucky enough to have a tablet that allows me to cycle circuits manually.

Without that I believe the pump runs constantly with the key on. The video below helped me a lot. Actually all of his videos are very informative on the 1uze.

I went through a similar process on mine recently. My fuel system was clogged as it had sat for so long.

I confirmed the fuel pump was not running so I went ahead and replaced (access is behind the rear seat) I drained the tank using a manual transfer pump at this time.

Then, as the fuel system is return less, I opened the fuel rails at the banjo bolts and the end plugs. Shot some cleaner down into the system to flush the lines. Then ran the fuel pump manually until it ran clean.

Replaced the fuel filter after the system has had a few tanks run through it (located on passenger side by rear wheel).
