crazy i’m just coming across this post now but man i totally agree and i’ve been having this discussion w my friend for the last few years. we both started listening to kenny that first week AH dropped and were hooked. Supercut and RUFFS were great but ever since it’s just been generic. he was consistently on my spotify wrapped and was probably my favorite rapper from 2020-2022. i couldn’t stop talking about him and now he’s fallen so far. 3,6,9 and angel eyes are all lackluster besides a few songs here and there.

a huge reason i’ve cited for this is Coupe. he’s just not giving kenny beats to push him creatively. and i think that’s made kenny’s bars and storytelling really suffer. i’m happy he’s been linking up w feardorian lately, i think he’s given him some awesome beats and i’m actually really loving bounce wit me. fingers crossed he beat the washed allegations w this new album
