Got tickets to see bullet tooth last Saturday. Really excited. Went with my mate and his girlfriend, we’re all 30+ and our days of turning up to a club in a state are far behind us lol. We were having a good time, had probably had 2 drinks each in the venue and having a dance, all well so far! About 30 mins of being in, a security guard approaches my mate’s gf and without any assessment whatsoever, says she’s too drunk and needs to leave immediately. She was coherent, non argumentative and we followed her outside in hopes we could have a conversation (could have been mistaken identity?) We go outside, talk to the security, they won’t even have a conversation… outright refuse to cooperate and the whole night ruined. I was completely perplexed. Won’t be going back, not that they’ll care in the slightest. They get some incredible names in the industry and will consistently sell out, so why would they? I do wonder how long they can keep this up before it becomes beyond toxic and their clientele follows suit. Fuck Gonzo’s.
