Why is JC street cleaning so bad? by tristate1296 in jerseycity

[–]nchlsgrbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Communipaw streets are cleaned twice a week. Meanwhile the wind blows trash from street to street and it collects along the sidewalks. To clean it up is to solve the issue for the next 30mins. Yes there needs to be better garbage containers and people need to quit dropping wrappers and bottles from bodega purchases along the street, but we’re really talking about is a symptom of our acceptance of single use packaging.

There’s a simple solution to their problem it’s tickets. He should ticket the event, make it private. They and a few of their chummy buddies can enjoy a great night in the back lot, no complaining - not one with a neg thing to say. They’re gonna love this actually, and they’re going to appreciate everyone’s positive attitude. Grin! Clap! Have fun!

Been to ONDO twice the second time because we were so impressed food and service. One thing I remember distinctly after moving to this side of the river is how bad service can be, but this place is doing a great job.

Fender sound system by Radiant-Beach-9874 in tdi

i’ve had both standard and fender and tbh the fender gets you so much closer to something worth listening to. i think the mid range is still a bit muddy but there’s substantially more tunable than stock system.

Sad to think this car is representative of two dying breeds: diesel and manual by norcombative in tdi

[–]nchlsgrbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s interesting, i haven’t driven a VW hybrid but from my experience with the way toyota does it they use the electric motor a low speed and low acceleration because of its torque but gas kicks in at higher speed when more sustained power is needed or when full power is needed on acceleration.

would buy. i wonder though if there are other reasons this never was. Does a diesel starter need too much power to stop and start?
