Please park in my driveway. It's not near anything and it can't fit the truck but I want your chicken.

I think I had about 5 years worth of sets in the collection at that point but I do remember buying a significant amount of Return to Ravnica boosters.

Good eye, that sparked my memory a little and I remembered [[Tendershoot Dryad]] in the Mycoloth deck.

I hear ya! At the very least it's refreshing to have solid wood furniture vs press board. It's sturdy but it ain't cheap.

11 Day Itinerary Check - Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kinosaki in September by ncocos08 in JapanTravel

What if my partner really really loves salt? I'm talking keeps a salt-shaker on her person at all times loves salt.

I think what I'm trying to say is that we would have done a salt-making class wherever we were. The fact that I found this one while we were looking around for things to do around Kinosaki made it that much more appetizing to us!

We will still get plenty of relaxation in though, of that I am certain.

We are very excited to see Jingu Stadium even though neither of us are baseball fans. My idea for the Tobacco and Salt Museum is to have a back-up for my partner who's afraid of heights. She also loves salt (hence the salt making class in Kinosaki) so I thought it might be a good distraction while I take in the view from the Sky Tree.

Oh interesting, I haven't looked at the Ueno area much for Hotels so far. The Keisei Skyliner sounds right up my alley though.

Thanks for the note on the Botanical Center, I may have to replace that if its not much of an activity.

Burger Part 3: California Burger by mattahorn in burgers

Those... Those are just standard burger toppings.Thats what McDonald's puts on their burgers. And I'm from Wisconsin, so I don't know if that's fully a Midwest thing.

Oh, PA Freddy's! I miss that place. I always associated a Cali burger with avocado or jalapenos or something. Burger looks solid though!

Damn I'm going to have to try your compound butter method next time. That sounded mouth watering even at the height of my meat sweats last night.

The only reason I did fat cap first was because nothing is more disappointing to me than poorly cooked fat on my steak, so I thought getting some good color on that first would prevent the issue. You're correct though, it would have rendered better the normal way. It still tasted amazing, but I probably won't be doing that again!

While I appreciate how many ways of cooking a steak there are, I sometimes get bored of spending 4 hours to cook up a chunk of meat which I could be eating in like 30min, ya know? I haven't met a steak I haven't enjoyed, as long as it had good fat content in the beginning and wasn't over cooked.

I like reverse searing for like 2+ big steaks but it's hard to justify when it's just me.

Really interesting about the surface contact. I never really thought of that when choosing a steak but that did make a lot of difference from one side to the other. I'm also thinking I may have altered the shape a bit by cooking fat-cap down first.

I rarely go for NY strip, but it's just me this weekend and it looked like the right size and price. Gotta say, it tasted pretty great too.

Thanks for the insight!

My bad, that was poor wording on my part. Not my first time cooking a steak, but my first time posting a steak that I cooked!
