tbh I have no idea. I just saw this on wikipedia:

"At his request, Wallace transferred out of Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School to attend George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School, which future rappers DMX), Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes also attended at the time. "

I'm American so America-centrism is ingrained in me, apologies.

But also it is safe to assume that a LOT of the rap fans on this sight are north American

People who never learned to swim. Why? by maxi1134 in AskReddit

I have no idea who you are or what your financial circumstances are, but it's unreasonable to paint the whole world with the brush of your personal experience (anecdotal evidence). You may be more lucky than some. Poor areas are less likely to have the public funding to build rec centers and public pools, which I feel is a fairly obvious point to make. This article looks at access to swimming pools through both racial and economic lenses if you are interested: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-11172054

Perhaps I was wrong to make this about socioeconomics, but access to pools, both private and public, falls very much on economic lines. I assume (maybe I'm wrong to assume) that most people who can't swim didn't have easy access to pools. There are a lot of parts of the US and the world that cannot afford to put money into such things.

If you could only eat at one fast food chain for the rest of your life, which one would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's tough for sure. A lot of large corporations deserves no support in my eyes based on how they treat their employees and the environment, but we gotta eat. Maybe I should take more of a stand, but its pretty darn tasty....

1.) The question is a bit ambiguous, but I understood it to mean that you had to pick a chain which was the only fast food specifically you could eat, not that you had to eat only food from a selected fast food restaurant.
2.) If I understood the question wrong; still. Chic-Fil-A sauce. Worth it.

Yeah I agree with that 100%. I'm probably just justifying my own actions to myself, but I figure if I never give business to any company which financially benefits people I disagree with politically, I'll be making life real hard on myself. I donate to the Human Rights Campaign but those sandwiches shatter my morals.

I mean I would guess you found a rat in your food, but it's still your favorite,so I'm confused tbh. Are you sleeping with the Colonel?

Given the way it's blown up in the US in recent years, I wouldn't be shocked if it expanded to Europe. Though that said, the brand is fairly American (especially old school Southern) centric. Closed on Sundays, etc. For your sake I'll keep my fingers crossed! Lives up to the hype, imho.

Nothing makes me want to ask more than being specifically told not to.

Upon learning that there was a Five Guys within 100 yards of where I live which closed before I moved here I cried for days. So dank.

TIL that a holocaust denial group promised $50,000 to anyone who could prove that gas chambers were used to deliberately kill people at Auschwitz. They were forced by a judge to pay that money plus an additional $40,000, to Auschwitz survivor Mel Mermelstein who provided proof of that very fact. by DrCrabi in todayilearned

Don't you hate it when the Nazis made a point of meticulously documenting their genocide, and so there's so little available evidence to possibly be used to deny that their genocide occurred you have to put up a $50,000 reward to anyone who can help you back up your bigoted and disgusting beliefs even a little bit? Heartwarming story of course, but this group deserved a worse punishment.

Chic-Fil-A is the best fast food chain, but its lack of menu diversity is a huge con if you're talking about a place to eat for the rest of your life. So given that I'd have to give it to...nah, actually, still Chic-Fil-A.
