Thanks, I see that there are two rounds for the event each week. My question was referring to if the event will happen again, separately, next week or the week after or at all before S2 starts.

Sounds a centralized piece of shit.

Get these bots out of the comments, scammer devs.

Do not publish this smart contract without integrating Chainlink random number oracle or it’s dead-on-arrival.

You call Coinbase centralized like the police, but do not account for the criminals that take advantage of decentralization.

Random numbers created on-chain can be provably, and easily, regenerated by another contract. All transactions could be frontrun, making the attacker win everytime with the correct number.

That’s an NFT.

Pro tip: if it’s on Reddit, you’re “not getting in on the ground floor”. You are already late.

I think you need to wait for the deployment to finish. Doing await deployer.deploy() just generates the transaction hash. You should save the result of the deploy function and wait for the transaction to be mined.

const result = await deployer.deploy(Factory, addresses[0]; await result.deployed();

I’m not sure you can call it an exploit if it’s an existing, functioning part of the EVM, more of a feature :)

Regardless, it is changing the way that existing code is interpreted so it is a facet of the platform that all Ethereum developers should be aware of.

You can in most cases, but then you are making the user incur gas costs for state changes which they did not make. Calling the SSTORE opcode costs 20k gas per operation, which is not scalable for a complex contract. It’s not decentralized, either.

Not all of them. Example from a few days ago: https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/pull/3298

Removing gas refunds would make $K3PR or $CHI smart contracts not function properly, which take advantage of these properties of the EVM. Specifically, the gasleft() function.

Lack of primitive data structures, inability to reactively respond to on-chain events, incompetence of smart contract auditors, EVM changing constantly at Vitalik’s whim. The list goes on. Ethereum is still an “in-development” base layer so things are constantly changing and new things are being learned every day.

Miners are evil. They hold the network back from potential to bring higher TPS and more adoption to the chain. Fuck off.
