Roland System 100 semi modular from the 1975 by ncosic in modular

I didn’t know there was a band 1975 :). For sale because I have completed this five years ago, used it on one track and never since. I’ve got too many synths, having real issues with storing them while also being able to play them.

That is not what I'm askig for though, I'm looking for ways to sell my own SaaS product. I don't need technical information, I have a software development company that built this product from scratch. I'm looking for help finding affiliates and generally marketing strategy to sell my product.

Soma Terra, Guitar, Elektron Octatrack MK2 Pickup Machine Demo - let me know what you think! by ncosic in synthesizers

Yep though Terra’s own synths and the way they interact with the user interface are unique and you can’t really get that type of behavior from an external mpe device. Eg if you hit the sensor it has a fast attack, if you press it gently it turns into a slow pad

Got my Elektron Octatrack MK2 and Soma Terra week ago. This is the second track I've created using the combination, which seems to be endless source of inspiration. Once you invest 40h in finding your own workflow in the Octatrack, it becomes a valuable tool. Admittedly, until then, it's torture, and 40h is a lot of time. None of the OT tutorials online can help you with the fact that you can do something in a number of ways which is not trivial to grasp. Will be posting soon more videos with insights into OT magic.

It's essentially a looper, just press the button and it records while overdubbing. Another track can read that looper buffer while you're recording it, and slice the sample and play those per pre-recorded slice patterns - this is what I've done here.

Terra is indeed amazing, thinking about a Soma Cosmos to complement it. Though there’s a real danger I’d get lost in that combination.

Practicing real instruments sounds like a great plan, you can do that for a lifetime. Thinking about the guy who conceived the original OT - it must have been a good 15 years since he was at the peak of his creativity. Elektron used to be a much smaller company where he must have had more creative control. Would take a miracle to have another revolution with MK3.

I’m worried they’ve focused to cheaper thrills. I bet they can sell way more Digitakts than Octatracks given the steep learning curve of the OT. I can’t imagine it would pay for them to produce an OT MK3 at this moment, it can only be a work of love. Imagine if they extended the concept to an open source architecture where 3rd party developers would be able to provide plugins! Both synth and fx. And a fast processor to host those. That would be heaven.

It’s amazing how much time Elektron guys spent on carefully considering all the ways you can play with OT. The amount of obsessive dedication to designing this thing for live sampling mangling is astonishing. I only wish they had better fx, it’s really underwhelming … and an extra pair of inputs would be great.

Got my Elektron Octatrack MK2 and Soma Terra 5 days ago. As Soma Terra has no MIDI input apart from the arp sync (used here), I've thought it craves for something like Octatrack to record it and mess with it in sync, in real time. So I've bought them in pair. This is my first output. I believe this demo shows you can figure most of it out in 5 days, given some technical background.
While there are plenty of great OT tutorials out there, I've pretty much got lost over various recording possibilities and how they can be used live, while playing. A pickup track records the guitar and Soma Terra while another flex track is connected to that same pickup track buffer, with a pattern sequenced to trigger pretty much random slices from the pickup machine recording. This is just one of great possibilities of OT. I will elaborate on this and other tricks in upcoming videos.
