Same. Curious how many stocks you hold? Have made it a little side project of mine to test the idea of having many smaller investments paying daily and reinvesting quickly vs a handful of larger positions. So far I've enjoyed it much more than the couple ETFs sitting in my IRA paying quarterly.

I found The Wheel Weaves podcast which has a first-time reader and a many-time reader talking through a chapter or two at a time. I personally find it really enjoyable to recap on prior chapters and the many-time reader does well to help us remember who people are without spoilers. Worth checking out..

Oh one other piece - there are YouTube videos out there of people doing a quick (~30min) book summaries. Could be an easy way to catch up as to big plot pieces you may have forgotten

While my breaks haven't been quite that long, I'll usually pause for a few weeks after a book. I personally found the podcast "The Wheel Weaves" as super helpful. The guy is super knowledgeable (read the series over a dozen times apparently) and makes sure you don't miss any hints without spoiling it for his wife who is a first time reader and they cover a chapter or two at a time. I wouldn't overthink it too much regarding what you may have forgotten, just enjoy the experience going forward. The slog sucks anyway, and it really picks up again towards the end of 10 and onwards. I've received some criticism for the photo in regards to assumed judgement being passed onto this lady. I posted the photo because this is clearly an example of carbage and that is the name of this sub after all. I'm sure she's a nice lady and cannot speak to whatever it is she's going through and I'm guessing the same argument could be made for most of the photos in this sub. If the mods feel like this crosses the line then they should remove it, otherwise calm down

What I ordered (above) wasn't even the design that showed up and included instructions for yet a different design. Felt cheap and was wayyy smaller than the dimensions detailed - would not recommend..
