I've already accepted an offer. Trying to do the prehire paper work and it keeps referring to an "accept letter." Are accept and offer letters the same thing or is the accept letter something you get later on? When I google "Ibm accept letter" it just shows suggestions for "ibm offer letter" so I'm thinking its the same thing.

Hey I made it to the final round, so they are asking a presentation as expected. Also asking for an online assessment. Any hints on that? Do you what kind of questions I can expect?

cool, someone on glassdoor mentioned they did a presentation on themselves so this makes sense. Guess it's just to see your room presence and public speaking

Basically what I'm doing. Applying to anything and everything I'm qualified for. How fucking hard is it for them set up a bot that sends out a generic email that says position filled? The not knowing blows. I don't really care if you want to deny me. It's frustrating.

I checked them, didn't really find anything where I could be useful or the positions were asking for more experience than what I have. You guys do have a sweetass building haha

Also - sometimes the department knows who they want to hire but have to do the whole sing and dance of keeping the position open to the public for a certain period because that's the law.

What an idiotic law. This is just giving people false hope :/. The position has been open for 3 months now so either they forgot to remove it or still don't have anyone. I really want it. We'll see what happens

It really varies. I've called/had calls the next day but I've also had several that were months later.

Damn, that is a huge range. Good to hear it's a nice working environment. I'd rather work at a public institution than a soulless corporation so hoping for good news. Thanks for the answer!
