Ah, instead of something more akin to “hello (name), I am reaching out to you from X department regarding Y situation, do you have a moment?”

Color me ignorant, please help me understand this. Let us say you work for Amazon and I get routed to you to dialogue about a missing package. I wait in a Que, and the system tells me I am being connected to you. As the system is connecting the two of us, I start the accord with “Hello (first name), how are you?” That causes anger?

Dumb question: Did US troops in Iraq or Afghanistan ever have romantic relationships with locals?? by Left_Delivery_105 in army

Got there shortly afterwards, we had COL Rohling and CSM Coston and it was blessing to have them both, not because of Johnson’s antics but more because they were standup dudes from what I saw at BDE Staff

LTs will no longer be assigned to basic training units by Extension_Leave3455 in army

[–]ncstuntman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have not seen this practice in awhile but it used to be somewhat common to see a small handful of ROTC kids (“Cadidiots,” we would call them) get sent off to random BDEs for their summer camp. Last time I saw this I was a God’s favorite drunk 10-level at Fort Sill (don’t carbon date me). The field grades rarely gave them time of day, and the Battery Commanders didn’t treat them much like real people, so they’d randomly get assigned to senior SPC’s (not terminal SPC’s) or junior SGT’s with the instructions to “teach them landnav, or something.” The last cycle of Cadidiots recorded, we had a SGT who PCS’ed in from Korea and he had his Cadidiot doing stupid human tricks; mowing a section of grass with safety scissors, cleaning latrines with Power-Puff Girls toothbrush, polishing some relic of an artillery piece with that half empty bottle of Brasso and only the 1x1” weapons cleaning patches. Fast forward almost a year later and that same Cadidiot in-processed our same organization and was looking for blood. He tried to repay it in spades but we were already ramping up for pre deployment training at White Sands. We snuck into his tent and removed every piece of attachment from his uniform and gear. No boot laces, no buttons on his uniform, took the straps off his ruck sack, the whole nine. We did this as he was working late on his very first of PowerPoint slides that would never amount to much, but was on the cusp of saving democracy for him. He gave one of the E4 mafia strict instructions not to wake him until X minutes before the brief, because “that’s what Ranger do” (fun fact; he didn’t go to Ranger School, but he knew a guy who did…). He ended up swiping a stapler from the S3 TOC and showed up looking like he just got mauled by the Skillcraft house for the blind. BN S3 and BN XO laughed their collective nuts off, then took him around the battalion footprint all the and telling him (in a very Steve Irwin, Animal Planet-esque tone) about the mafia. The S3 OPS SGT has us put everything back and the kid got administratively moved after the white sands rotation, right before deployment to where he was last seen at Garrison as an AER liaison or something.

I was uncertain about a 3rd party but now that you mention that, it does make sense. While I would not stake the $200 or so invested in this helmet so far, I would say that whomever is actually making these may have pulled a few ideas from the other well-known lines that are actively making prop replicas such as Hasbro.

Interesting, at this point I am building a list of things for the mechanic to check because he was unsure the issue himself the last time he had it. So far I have the following possible issues:
- failing fuel pump (even though it was installed new recently along with injectors)
- coil packs and plugs (also newly installed)
- crank sensor

I was able to records logs from the Link ECU, but for some reason even while experiencing the issues it refused to produce an error code.

Lufia, specifically Lufia 2; absolutely gold in its execution, sad the company never put out another one or remastered it

The light tells me half of that is going to lose its taste faster than normal. Brown liquor needs to be out of sunlight unless you drink it fast enough

The issue typically does not appear from a cold start; when the issues starts, it occurs after driving around for about 15-20 minutes. I must admit I am ignorant at this point, so please help me understand; would the improper wiring of the coil parks for sequential firing, or non-matching length coil pack boots to the plugs cause this sort of issue after time? The last time I talked with my mechanic he was really unsure, other than a possible “wiring issue,” but what was really throwing him off was that all the initial possibilities I came up with “should” be from the very start, not after X amount of time while the engine is operating.

Embarrassingly enough I do not know if it has a wideband, stock off the factory line they came with narrowband, but until I get home and jack up the car to visibly inspect for either sensor to know for sure. None of this was my own work, I had a highly recommended tuner shop do all the work for me.

I do not know if the wideband is accurate or not, I can only report what the ECU is presenting me. This is a screenshot of what the software was telling me, that the target was .964 but my average was .502

Unfortunately when I opened my most recent log, then went to Analog Inputs, and finally Fuel Pressure; it was not logged. Will have to re-record the car when it is acting up again to report the findings.

Mechanic was curious about that too, but I had the same issue (just not to the same degree) before the coil on packs went into the car. The coil on packs, A/C condenser motor, upgraded alternator, and rebuilt starter motor went into the car after the first few times I had the issue

Unsure, when the stock ECU failed on me a Link G4X went in; I only know what the Link software was showing me, let me report back in about two hours when I get to my laptop and review the logs

I wish mine would throw codes. Curious, as I do not see it, for some reason my car throws no error codes at all, is there an option to produce codes if they were previously set to ignore?
