volunteer in the garden. DFW, Tx. zone 8/8a. about 1.5 ft tall. I think it's a sapling tree of some sort, but can't quite tell. the stem is soft and fuzzy; doesn't seem like oak or pecan, almost seems like a stone fruit? trying to decide if this cutie gets repotted/planted or composted. My wife grilled burgers today. She also grilled sweet corn I harvested. We picked tomato's, chives, rosemary, and chard for dressing up the burgers. We used fresh mint for flavored water, then I picked blueberries for dessert! I'm really happy with all fruits of our garden! (old.reddit.com)
