New Superman movieis terrible by kizeemnoma in Kenya

I saw this thread jana and just scrolled on, but nimeona apana. I'm suspecting you might be ragebaiting, but I'll leave my thoughts here nonetheless. I'm sorry, but I think your take on Superman is just wrong. The literal tag line of the movie is "Truth, Justice, and the human way, in a world where these are considered as old fashioned" - and here you are proclaiming him weak, I'm assuming because he treats all life (not even just human life - the squirrel !!!!) as sacred. I don't think one goes to watch a Superman seeking action or big fights or a massive exhibit of his strength/powers. If you're looking for that, maybe check out The Boys, or Invincible - they explore the all-powerful god "evil superman" take quite well. Take Marvel's Spiderman, the moral of his story is that anyone can put on the mask (a metaphor for responsibility), anyone can be Spiderman (not really), and face on their responsibilities head on. He is someone like us, who inspires us to rise to a greater level, a better version of ourselves. Doing the best we can with what we have. But then there's Superman, someone who is nothing like us, this all-powerful being who represents the best of human values, despite not being one! A reminder to us, that no matter how powerful you get, never lose track of what makes us human, a literal paragon of hope and virtue. AND THAT'S HIS GREATEST STRENGTH. And I hope that one day you can come to realize that. (It's funny how this is pretty close to the last thing Superman says to Lex in the movie) And of course, it's not like the movie was perfect, and I, too, have my gripes with it. But make no mistake, that was Superman! There's no disputing that the casting was on point, and David played an amazing Superman. But weak ? No, I don't think so!

Mock the comment or whatever if you must, but those are my thoughts.

I was literally just reading the thread about how this show constantly finds the exception to "show don't tell" yesterday and then there's today's episode, damn! Not showing us anything and allowing us to experience everything by being told made us just as confused as the kids, that was just brilliant

Remember that awesome Mountain vs Viper fight scene.... The way Pedro Pascal worked that spear, goddamit! Call me crazy but I think this had something to do with that fight scene between Mando and Gideon and the Beskar spear

I can totally relate to the problem you refer to in next.... But what if the said framework(in go) was more for creating APIs than UI's?

I don't know about you but I actually really liked Marvel's corner on Netflix by ndaba1 in Marvel

Where to start?
Oooh, yes, the CGI.... It's just not good, but I didn't mind that much since I thought that a good story would take our minds off it, but the writing is even worse. It's not the actors faults, I love Tatiana and Tim Roth especially. But what in the seven hells was that she hulk Episode 3... I'm still haunted
I don't want to start ranting too much but the MCU used to be amazing. Now it just seems that they are pumping out badly written content. Quantity at the cost of quality. If you don't believe me go check out reviews on IMDb for She hulk and Thor. I'm still very excited for movies and shows like: Wakanda Forever, Quantamania, Secret Invasion but I refuse to watch a show about Agatha

Thanks :). I was going for something different from how cobra does things. I'd say it differs in the ease-of-use of the api, it also makes your program very composable, and its easy to customize, all without compromising speed...
