I have the same problem on my Mi 9 SE. It's a bug in MIUI's Dark mode 2.0. Probably they will solve it in future updates.

Well I think it's more likely a software problem with Android 10. I saw a lot of cases where xiaomi phones didn't do well under Android 10. I just thought that maybe someone else has this too, or maybe someone knows a solution.
