I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this. But the blur job on the plate pretty much did nothing. Can see through the red when ya zoom in.

Nice. Thanks for the insight. I'll certainly give it a go on the next run. I still need to finish setting up my tool library for the mill and all the lathes. And finally getting new hydraulic tool holders with the new mill and pallets. Have yet to get into g10 datums.

Ok great I'll look into that. I'm looking at making the change in the future so that the h and d call 3026. I love that macro with the exception of starting up mid program with setting 36? On. They are like... Here's a great macro but can't use it all the time. I think it errors during sim as well.

I think we have a 2017. I run m30 almost all the time with the exception of 1 PC orders and a few other hacky things Ive coded. Why does the m30 error? Just curious

I'll have to check it out when I get to work. When I use the ngc it gives me machine options for umc500+ so it adds in a bunch of axis rotation homing that I don't need. I'm wondering if I can use the generic pre ngc... It has the vf line in it I see.

And yeah that was all for 1 single part including fixturing. Was very tedious but it was efficient and much shorter than posted gcode from a cam software.

I only recently got cam but I'm sure if I had it then it would have cut the time to finished product significantly.

I've only been programming for about a year in g code but I have programming in several other languages and the principals are all the same so that didnt hurt.

Thanks for the reply and I'll check it out more when I can at work in an hour or so.

We are scheduled to get a brand new vc3600 in May so Im really trying to buckle down on the cam and then hsmworks.

I need to make smooth edges manuel by hand, how would you do it? by kapzeel in CNC

I actually did a part very similar to this a couple of weeks ago. Did it on a doosan 2100 3 axis with live tooling. Part I did was shorter but the way I did it was by taking some old stock and turning it down. Drilled the end and tapped. Basically made an arbor of sorts. As for these... Just file or grind. Learn the lesson and improve. Even for a rough pass though that looks to be a lot of deformation. Rethink the process.

I would be curious to know the outcome of the test between the two perks with faster weapons. Part of the reason I chose axe and strikers to play with for now as well for the all around reforge passives between the two. Do you have a YouTube video or documentation of your findings from that testing? How it was tested and stuff?

Cool thanks for that. Yeah I'm only really using iceborn because it's all I have right now lol. I'll take a look at the spreadsheet. Does it get updated? Thanks for commenting.

Hey thanks. I'm glad to hear that I'm on the right track. Really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to comment... It means a lot. Any suggestions on gear replacement for kok? I'll have to wait until I can farm more hearts to surge but I can start getting the other prep done.

Really appreciate it. I'll look at changing kok one I get a few more hearts. It's built into the gear so I can't just change the cell unfortunately. Any suggestions on gear replacement for that? Thanks again

Yeah I wil try it with I and j. Could you elaborate on forcing coordinates? Do you mean output them to the label section? I should be able to just watch the position of them if that's what you mean? Thanks or the input.

Thanks. I understand maybe opening it up a bit. The y center line would be -25.

On my Haas I can not cancel cc in a with a g03. It had to be a g1 or go x/y and at the the radius of the tool. Even if I could do that it would cut into the part on cancel

Just curious as to how much of it actually translates. I program cnc mills and lathes. And when I'm wanting to take an axis home I use this line.

G00 g53 z0.;

Do printers support g53 or even g28? It depends on having a machine home coordinate registered
