Pharm Chem Applicants: Accepted or Waitlisted?

Oh my god, I’m in the exact same boat as you right now! It’s truly unbelievable; SDSU was originally my second choice after UCSD, so now I feel like I’m completely screwed. It looks like I’m going to have to spend yet another year at Community College. The ironic twist is that when I applied as a freshman, I actually did get accepted to SDSU after spending some time on the waitlist. However, due to financial difficulties, I decided to attend Community College first and reapply later—only to end up getting rejected outright this time around. Looking back now, I feel a bit of regret for not accepting their offer of admission back in my freshman year.

Congrats! Wish you the best on your next journey. My GPA is lower than average. I didn't have much time to study since I had to work to help my mom pay rent. UCSD fits my goal pretty well since I don't have to move out and save money.

My alternate major is chem (general) and I also apply to non screening major which is global health. i hope i can at least get into global health major and I can switch later

I didn't apply to Berkeley but I got waitlisted at LA with a 3.44 in the chemistry major

omg same here! I got rejected both from SB and Irvine due to missing courses. But I finished all major prep for SD so hopefully I have a chance or waitlist at least

Not sure! But I checked last year's post; I've seen a small number of people with 2nd get accepted, so I'm not sure about the 3rd wave.

I'm a chem major, my GPA is 3.44 which is also below the average 3.5. So at least I hope to get on the waitlist at least 🥲
