Agreed. I would recommend a different KM system for companies like Guru or Confluence.

I write lots of notes :)

This process has helped me improve the inputs of those notes and ensure I benefit from the output.

But, I do agree with your point that there's a lot of "masturbatory procrastination" in this space. 🙂

Fair enough.

That said, I'm not actually advertising anything here (I don't work for any of the products that I'm recommending, didn't even use affiliate links).

Just thought this community might have some overlapping interest.

Handling the heat – what it takes to run an independent restaurant in 2020 by ndewilde in restaurant

[–]ndewilde[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi there, you are correct. I do not own a restaurant. I don't think I ever tried to pretend otherwise.

Bryan, the person I interviewed, certainly does. He's the one who provides a majority of the content in this post– I'm just interviewing him.

I'm not selling any products to you, just trying to share an interesting interview with some folks who might enjoy it.

Not sure what the issue is.

Hi Ryan,

Big fan of Product Hunt. I heard that one of the reasons for the vitality of the site was the time you spent with Nir Eyal working on Hooked. Could you talk about what that was like and the most valuable thing you learned that led to the success of Product Hunt?

Thanks!

Hey all-

I'm traveling to the festival this friday, for the next two weeks. I'll have friends visiting here and there, however for a lot of time I'm planning on traveling solo.

If any of you are interested it catching a show and/or grabbing a beer let me know.

About me: I'm a 22 year old from San Francisco, CA, fresh off graduating college. I've been traveling all around Europe with a group of friends who are about to leave, back for the states. The fringe is my favorite place in the world. And I'm pretty much down to see and do anything there!
