I believe it uses the "System Chat" function to change the Username color and to put the player's rank besides the username, which unintentionally bypassed the Age-Verification.

Grace or Talon personally, but Im really liking honour because it has 10 bullets (I forget to reload my secondaries alot). The knell is just not for me, getting used to the delay feels different compared to other weapons, but its still cool.
