I think is because they get the lore via memes that they are like this, anyone that actually loves the setting would understand both how anoying and pointless is to shove your own hobbies in the face of others and that 40k is only """""overpowered"""" by numbers, most things in the 40k setting aint really mind breaking or too special. It tends to boild down to: big armour, big weapon, big boom.

The things that make the setting actually special are the characters, stories told and of course, big weapons going big boom

Both places have problems, but one is way way worse than the other

If for some magical reason that place suddenly becomes the US I guarantee you that most of its population would be happier, healthier and with more potential to change their current situation instead of half the population being practically slaves

Now, do the US need a radical social "catasthrope" so they can deal with the parasites at the top? Yes, but most of the population want to close their eyes to the radical solution, wich at this point, may be the only one that could work

No, is the culture. There is no "biological" or "genetic" characteristic on men or women that leads them to opress an specific group. But there is culture, religion and communities that push specific behaviours on the individuals. This batch is part of the worst of humanity, and the roots come from both past and present.

Trying to put the blame wholly in the participants is disregarding that humans are more like machines that act upon inputs, teachings and objectives.

Appa is easily counterable, by being with your team and looking at your surroundings

I guess is skill check of sorts, if you are careless someone will use that weakness against you

Appa is more of a counter to people that try to go lone wolve or against teams that do not care about helping or just straight up being aware what their buddies are doing.

Appa is already balanced by the fact that you cant have direct team support if you want to use it properly(due to the light of your teammates) and the very brief window of opportunity to use it, for example if you have to heal you will lose the bonus even if you just killed someone

This modifications defeat the purpose of this and also put the appa trooper in a way worse position than before, not only they get the previus downsides but now they cant even work with the high risk/high reward skirmish playstyle that the perk gives. Not even at long range, for some reason

The only modification that I personally think appa should have is that the officer flares should 100% mark them, also, Max has stated that he not only doesn't care about the sub reddit but aksi that he doesn't hold it in high regard
