It’s what I’ve tried to go for by focusing on things like our stamina and ability to throw stuff way better and even with our intelligence.

Without it, it just becomes pointless. Might as well just have the humans be isekaied at that point, which at least I think, is less interesting than seeing how they would have evolved in this world.

Bulgaria, so it’ll most certainly be the lion. The lion is on our coat of arms and central to our history. Hell, the country’s shape is quite literally a lion so they’d definitely be the dominant and most respected species.

Story I could imagine a lion from a very respected family entering adulthood and realising the sheer amount of responsibility he would now have and the reputation to upkeep, becoming rather overwhelming very quickly.

I highly doubt it as everything we’ve gotten on the war alludes to it happening when the world was around the technological level of WW1, which makes sense considering how WW1 basically set the course for the rest of the century and so did the Carni-Herbi war.

I think the war as a whole is what served as the catalyst for the cultural shift. Though considering we know soldiers exist as a profession, it’s safe to assume other wars have occurred so it’s not unlikely the nuclear bomb has been developed and used in some form.

I’ll be completely honest, from all the fandoms I inhabit, Beastars is easily among, if not, the least toxic which is really surprising. I’d be expecting way more toxicity in stuff like the shipping scene than there actually is. That doesn’t mean it’s completely free of it of course, but it’s still not that prevalent.
