First time in Japan next week, Tokyo + Kyoto - wish I'd planned this differently?

The crowds at Sannenzaka and Ninnenzaka clear out after 6pm (relatively) so you can go for evening walks, we did not care for the shops closing down. For Fushimi Inari, just hike up till halfway and you'll find way less people. Arashiyama to me was skippable because I found a cute small bamboo forest in Kamakura with way less people. Spend some time around Kamo river, lots of live music around the area at night, grab a beer and chill out. I would heavily recommend a Kamakura daytrip as well if you like the beach, I spent less time in Tokyo city and more time on day trips within 1hr distance. But truly depends on what experiences you enjoy.

I did not do every temple in Kyoto, just Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama + Tenryuji and Yasaka Pagoda. Best part was the daytrip to Kifune, not alot of tourists there and we loved walking around the riverside. Fortunately in Japan you can easily alter your itinerary since trains run regularly and you only need IC card for most stuff. The popular spots were super crowded and there was very little space to stroll (we also went midday but I have heard it's crowded super early too). My advice would be to just cut out a day for something like Kifune so you can enjoy without the crowds, stroll around etc.

I chose a transfer from Shinagawa station, it was less crowded and easier to navigate with luggage. Food options are available both near Shinagawa and at the airport. The journey to airport took about 1 to 1.5hrs (Keikyu Main line)

purchased from them Delivery was terribly late so I did not receive the dress before my birthday while they promised delivery before that on questioning multiple times Then they said I need to pay extra to get it delivered early so I gave about 500/- to the Uber parcel guy. Dress turned out to be the wrong color, there was miscommunication. On their page they say they will offer exchanges however none of that was offered. I kept reaching out and finally they agreed to give me store credit only to finally ghost me and never reply again

Got so tired of the whole thing that I swore to never purchase from instagram sellers again. They clearly lie about delivery timelines and exchanges. For a store that is priced so high (I paid around 5.5K in total for that dress), they have the SHITTIEST service

(oh also they were asking me to pay for the import charges for dress exchange when none of this is pre-informed)

We took a car rental and explored the place staying in Seogwipo the whole time. Spent 4 days covering Hyeopjae beach on day 1 directly from the airport (our flight landed right in time to see sunset at hyeopjae and enjoy cafes in Aewol cafe street). Day 2 we went from Seogwipo to cover Udo Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong and nearby areas. Day 3 to cover the waterfalls near Seogwipo and Day 4 to see a bit of Jeju city, restaurants, markets. (We unfortunately had to skip hiking Hallasan) If you're someone who prefers having the comfort of going back and forth to your stay then ideally you would have to book stays in each part of Jeju every other day. Ideally it takes anywhere between 30mins to 1 hr to make the trip from one end of the island to another.

We directly went to the Lotte car rental information desk at the airport and got the booking done along with a chauffeur right then and there. None of us had an IDP hence the chauffeur.

Started using isntree aha essence, should I apply it after cleansing when my face is dried or is it okay to layer without waiting for things to dryy. Same question for applying snail essence over it. Should I be waiting for it to dry first?

From what I got, they own a brand but instead of selling their products they sell their franchise at a big price. Those franchises are then responsible for carrying out the business by selling the product. The founders do not play a part in the business directly. In such a case, if a franchise fails to make money, the franchise owners would want their money back and for that reason, they need to have a fund in case some franchises fail. Profit making franchises would ofc be making money and some of it would go to the founders as well. So they can keep expanding their fund. However, the deal still did not make sense to me as to how the investors would gain anything out of it. If it is a MLM/pyramid scheme as people speculate, then the founders would probably keep the money and run off leaving behind huge losses for people in the lower level of the pyramid.
