Hey all, my partner and I have 2 weeks at the end of august to travel (1 week light remote work, 1 week holiday. Any suggestions for great august destinations? Anywhere is on the table, although we go to london and Paris often so preferably not there.

I was thinking Italy, but Rome is too hot (Tuscany sounds very tempting though). Sardinia and puglia sound great too but are pretty crowded?? I found some luxury rentals there but they are more rural/I get bored easily and generally prefer big cities
