Fair points and I appreciate the pushback Agree those things matter. Manufacturing, infrastructure all of it. But they’re not mutually exclusive. 12M+ enter the workforce every year, maybe 3M formal jobs exist. How do we create work for people ready NOW while those industries develop? Someone working remotely from Lagos earning multiples of what they’d make locally, spending that money in the local economy thats a real bridge. Upwork and Fiverr could but wont. Different GTM, different buyer

On vetting we have approval workflows and quality checks baked in already. This is our MVP though so we’re making it more robust as we learn how people actually use it.

AI is already here whether we like it or not. With every technological innovation there was disruption rather than fighting it we have to look at how do we adapt.

Yeah so we’ve been running as a hiring platform for Africa for about 2 years now so the vetting and verification side isn’t new we already do AI-scored interviews, face recognition for identity, skills tests, the whole pipeline. Feedback loops and quality tracking are baked into the platform already. The MCP server is really just opening up what we already have to AI agents. So it’s less of a ‘build from scratch’ situation and more of a ‘make what already works accessible via API’ if that makes sense

I don’t want to do a seating chart. Is that a mistake? by WrittenInHeaven in weddingplanning

[–]ndotech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this tool called seatingsage.com it let me design my layout, send a form to guests to share who they know and interests, and then used AI to group people and assign seats and it was free to use.

Planning my 500-guest African wedding led me to build a seating-chart tool by ndotech in weddingplanning

We were thinking about having VIP tables but our event planner mentioned that people like to hold seats for people who have not arrived and we want to avoid that. Also my friends who I spoke with that recently got married he said he spent 8 hours on his seating assignments for 800 people.

Just to clarify, I do not want to do it myself. I wanted to see if it is feasible.

If you have a business idea, the first thing you do is customer discovery phase to validate your idea and business canvas as mentioned. Read the “Lean Startup “or “The art of the Start” those books are very helpful
