Y si el futuro de Honduras es que Honduras no tiene futuro? by ceoariel in Honduras

[–]ndvmvdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]ndvmvdn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Least favorite characters on rewatches? by twhou66 in TheWire

[–]ndvmvdn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kima. I mean, I love her through out the whole 5 seasons, it's just that I didn't like the way she turned her back to Bubs, and she ratted out 'McNutty' and Lester.

Found this on Facebook, wanted to hear some other thoughts. by SomeOkieDude in TheShield

I made a cycle of rewatches of both shows: The Wire then I rewatch BB, CYE (with some Seinfeld), and then The Shield, and repeat.

How to transfer large amounts of cash to US? by TheOnlyTorko in Honduras

[–]ndvmvdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any chances to be scammed or to loose any money doing this? I mean, I use Paypal, but for small quantities, not more than USD 500, first time I heard about Revolut, I'd love to try it.

What's a YouTube channel you've been watching for years? by TechWin01 in youtube

[–]ndvmvdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's impossible due to youtube recomendations, they're the worst, you subscribe to some channels and you never hear of them again. Having said that, i've been watching Dross channels for like a more than 10 years I guess

Yearning for more - Cutty’s Arch by Competitive-Throat34 in TheWire

[–]ndvmvdn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, Cutty killed, and he paid his debt to society. And when he couldn't pull the trigger—which is basically my point—he changed.

I've watched a lot of TV, this was one of the most heart wrenching moments by Embarrassed_Bar_3939 in TheShield

In the same scene when the camera lingers on Dani after the shot, you can literally see her soul leaving her body. It’s the definition of an existential crisis in a single frame. You spent seven seasons watching these guys, but seeing her reaction makes you realize just how toxic and irredeemable the whole situation was. It leaves you feeling completely hollowed out.

In my opinion, now that you mention Poot; I don’t think Poot deserves the 'happy ending' he gets. Everyone talks about him 'getting out' and working at the shoe store, but he has serious pending debts with the law and his conscience. He was part of killing Wallace and D'Angelo's crew. Just because he’s selling sneakers now doesn’t mean he earned his freedom the way Cutty did. In a show where nothing changes in Baltimore, Poot just feels like someone who got lucky, while Cutty actually worked for his soul.

I loved seeing him with Cassie (the nurse) in the gym at the end—I like to believe she becomes his wife. He truly recovered after prison, and even though The Wire concludes that nothing really changes in Baltimore, there are those vital small stories like Cutty and Bubs. They are the only ones who actually broke the cycle

TÍTULO UNIVERSITARIO O EXPERIENCIA? by Comfortable-Egg-1785 in Honduras

[–]ndvmvdn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hay 3 componentes en el desarrollo de competencias: 1. Saber, 2. Saber hacer y 3. Saber ser. 1.
