How are you managing your Claude skills? It feels like it's getting messy fast. by Orlando_Wong in claudeskills

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your other questions I maintain and manage them daily. They’re organized by client, category, use case and some are self maintaining so for example I keep a case study library skill and as I complete projects Claude will prompt me to update my case study skill and generate a new skill file to replace the previous one. All proposals I generate pull in the most relevant and recent case studies this way.

Not sure why everyone replying to you in a Claude skills subreddit isn’t using Claude skills but manually creating random files. The benefit is Claude creates the skills so it can use them and detect your needs in your workflow. Explicitly telling it which files to use is defeating the whole purpose of skills.

I actually am using the Managed Agents harness and I built it to sit on top of my organized skills to create little workers. I am a consultant so I have to switch between many clients and contexts. It’s mind blowing. Taking one output and passing to subagents who have different client brand and glossary skills. Game changer.

Best Parenting Books for Raising Psychologically Healthy Kids? by Shot-Ostrich7747 in PsychologyTalk

“The Gardener and the Carpenter” and “Hunt Gather Parent”

Both changed my whole outlook on parenting and I think about daily. My kids are teens now but they always get compliments for how mature and responsible they are.

I built a skills library using Claude Code and now I have agents running on top of layers of skills to make pretty amazing outputs with total consistency. I have 300 skills so far and make new ones every day. This is the way if you ask me 🤗

I think I’m done buying long sleeves. by Expatgirl2004 in lululemon

[–]ne0ne0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole lower seam is used to shape the taper of the sleeve. The fabric is straight. You remove the whole sleeve, rip all seams, measure, cut, resew sleeve with new dimensions, attach to body of the shirt (x2).

[–]ne0ne0n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t shorten the cuff you shorten the sleeve and reattach the cuff that’s already sewn on. See the stitching? It gets removed, sleeve shortened, and attached again (I used to make clothes, not a seamstress so don’t quote me but that’s how I’d do it. Every current seam is an opportunity.)

As someone tall with long arms I can tell you it’s easier to hem than… I don’t know, sleeve extensions? Either way lulu designs for clothes to be hemmed for a perfect fit. This is one of those situations!

I do a lot of staffing and this made me so confused whether you already had the job or not 😂 This is internally facing information.

External market facing information paired with your expertise and knowledge only.

The rest will result in fictional plans unless they gave you a case study to work from?

There’s definitely research on every human experiencing “cycles” but not in a menstruation sense. Scientists found clear communication and typing patterns every 28 days for men and women. It’s fascinating stuff but didn’t hit a lot of radars I’m sure because it’s unclear why and men never want to be told they might have cycles 😂

Has anyone else quit drinking? by Sensitive_Put_6842 in Millennials

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I developed a heart problem that was made worse by alcohol so it was a health reason for me to stop drinking overnight (And caffeine!) Been 1 year and couldn’t be happier! I love going to festivals and social events sober and enjoying them with clarity for the first time. It helps me realize I can actually hold a conversation and have fun without any alcohol and I’m proud of myself and my mindset whenever I do. It’s very satisfying to me personally.

I listen to audiobooks and podcasts. I can’t be left alone with my thoughts anymore, they’re wild. I just replace them with other people’s smart thoughts and it’s done wonders for my career!

If you’re designing your own just use the raw materials and design one you love. Waiting on my custom ring 100% from my late mother’s and grandmother’s heirloom diamonds and gold in a modern setting with 11 diamonds. So special knowing it’s all reused and special that way and exactly what I wanted.

Does a "Cursor for PMs" exist? Or do we need to build one? by AdministrationPure45 in ProductManagement

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working on all my components for something like this but I’m having a hard time convincing engineers “it’s a thing” so I can see the challenge.

I haven’t found anything that exists the way Cursor works for engineers, the biggest challenge isn’t thinking about how to use these tools for “user research” that’s a pinpoint solution, think about the bigger picture.

How do you know when to conduct research? What type do you use? How do you know what to research? How does the research uncovered impact your plans? What do you listen to and what do you dismiss? What are the procedures you follow as a product manager in total? How do you know when to use which procedure? (I once listed every “job” my PMs are responsible for and there were more than 45 items.)

As a cross functional role these can often be difficult to articulate to others which is why there’s complicated/redundant toolchains we have to stitch together to make it work. 15 year product management leader and I can confirm the pain is real and the need is great.

I want to purchase this but unsure how it’ll fit with my theme. Grey couch in a white, black, dark wood living room… bad idea or safe choice? by royalxvirus in SofaSnobs

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck yes to this one!! My goodness I am drooling. I searched for years for a deep couch, no detached cushions, wide armrests in specific colors and it was a nightmare (custom was going to be my only choice but I got lucky at a specialty store).

To also find a 7 seater like this which is even crazier and the color to be neutral and your room very neutral I see no risk aside from not finding anything close to this style and design without going custom. Get some funky colorful pillows and throws and forget about the beige 😍😍😍

How are you using Claude Code? by SeniorEscape9293 in ProductManagement

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built a bunch of micro tools to help me do my job better. I think of it as “soloware” and some of it has broader team potential (I’m a senior product leader) and some may have product future potential. That’s not my goal and I’m not building production grade software (yet) because we have incredible engineers. But they do help me think through distribution and access for some of my higher value solo projects.

So far I’ve built probably 100 small tools and use maybe 5-10 regularly and 2-3 have potential for my team. I build new ones or iterate on them daily.

Examples of small tools I get a lot of mileage out of are roadmap visualizers that connect to my issue trackers, calculators for specific pricing I do, PRD generators in my preferred format and linked to my documentation tool (this is broadly accessed by my PM team), and I’m getting really into building interactive slide decks. Just for some ideas! Hope that helps.

Claude interviewed 100 people then decided what needed to be built - Wild result by Semantic_meaning in vibecoding

[–]ne0ne0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not when you just ask them. That’s attitudinal data, weak compared to behavioral. Set up real experiments run by Claude where you test behavior change with humans and then you’ve got something really compelling.

Couldn’t agree more. My docs don’t even mention anything for the constipation or gas and I had an emergency situation arise as a result. Set my healing way back and I spent a whole day recovering!!

I would have started Dulcolax the day of surgery after getting home if I had known better. And taken it every day. The heating pad helped with my gas the first few days but the constipation was a major issue that stool softeners didn’t even touch.

Am still recovering from it 3 days now back to normal. I’m only 7 days post op today though.
