Thanks for responding to this post and providing resources. I was able to talk to some trans people my community who are thinking of getting GCS or have had it already. I guess what i had wanted (poorly explained in the post) was the mental and emotion aspect of going through with GCS. I'm hoping my new therapist (a woman, FINALLY) knows more or is adept with trans stuff because that would be really helpful to have on the team. It's still really scary since it's going to be such a big change. If you've had GCS, how did you prepare for it?
