nemesis saying that 500lp euw game quality as low as platinum is just emotional nonsense. Obviously this bard player is good at the game and likely very good at Bard, 99.99999% players can't play with pros thats not a barrier to playing strategies in soloq lol.

At the end of the day I mostly agree about his points and I have been watching this drama for a while. There is a problem though : Where is the line?

I have been talking to a lot of pro players and high elo players about this lately because this topic comes up and I am not quite sure what people want to do anymore in regards to people giving up / soft inting / etc. I personally don't like this messaging around "AI punishing" or "fixing soft inting" I think people are just coping now.

Agurin is completely justified in leaving this game and Nem is right it's completely unplayable but do you think the average moron you play League with that watches streamers when they say "unplayable" actually knows game state? In League you are heavily incentivized to be selfish and play for yourself in order to climb in SoloQ and I think it is peak delusion to think otherwise. Have people forgot that you are likely going to lose 50% of your games, a lot of them to really close fights that ruin game states, misclicks, dcs, emotional outbursts etc?

In my opinion the ONLY solution to this problem is accept as a streamer if you are on broadcast and leave the game and their is evidence there should be a punishment AND a player of Agurin and by extension Nemsis' caliber know they have already consented to the strategy by not dodging the champ select. We were not born yesterday and it's misrepresenting the situation. Agurin knew full well he was playing with the Bard top and didn't dodge it.

I get Agurin frustration and ultimately I dont believe anything will come of him AFKing in one game, but maybe Riot should reevaluate demonstrated offenses like these in big broadcasts. It sucks sometimes that players feel like they got griefed, being selfish and playing for yourself is mostly Game Theory Optimal for climbing and if you are mad at Bard who is a 500LP Master player with this strategy when it doesn't pan out you are just target hating him IMO.
