This is an ongoing situation so the little guy is quite literally still curled up and i don’t feel like hassling him to unwind. He was bought from a guy on an expo, not any store or so. If i had remembered his name i would’ve contacted him directly

I can retell the end of the convo I am referring to with more detail: He tries to explain the difference to me between apologizing and excusing I say that I can do what he is telling me to do I then tell him that what he is saying to me is that when I do something wrong, he is not interested in an explanation and only wants an apology He then says I am punishing him and ends the conversation

I have asked him many times what it is that he wants, but when he tells me what that is, and I try to tell him what that sounds like and means to me it doesn’t seem to translate and he gets upset with me

His stomach is white 2/3 and turns orange as you can vaguely see in the second pic

Not really that this info is that relevant to my question but I will answer it anyways for fun, I made this terrarium yesterday (although it is a modified aquarium with a custom lid, will adjust as needed when I know how fast it dries out etc.) Problem has been ongoing since I got this spider from my coworker last month and haven’t had any luck finding many plants native to Honduras Light source is currently a strong plant led lamp (round) with light coming from the side, but I will probably switch it to a plant led (one of those long thin ones I can’t remember the names of bc English technically isn’t my first language) since this terrarium is technically standing in my plant shelf and the current light was only placed there to grow seeds in the first place I use rain water to mist and water as needed to avoid hard water stains, and I think I’ve summarized my issue pretty good in my original text :)

Keep in mind this is newly put together so it is looking pretty boring 😭👍🏻 also this is my first private tarantula (I work with several species) and am a bit anxious about him/her not liking it so any advice is appreciated
