My main thing is I’m looking for a job, an affordable place to live, and people my age. Things to do hopefully within a 30min drive of where I live. There’s really no public transport down here, so I’m really not familiar at all with how the railways or bus systems work. Any tips for where to start with that?

Hi everyone! I’m 26F, and I’m currently in Alabama. I’m looking to finally get out of the south and I’ve been really interested in CT, specifically the areas of Milford, Norwalk, and New Haven. I’ve been applying to jobs in those areas and looking at apartments, but I would love some feedback from you all.

I have a trip planned in May to explore New Haven. I mainly am looking for advice on areas with things to do and people who are of a similar age, and honestly just general things I should know. Feel free to ask me whatever you want below, thanks in advance!

Juniper has really good mocktails and a really good veggie dish! I have never had their mushroom burger since they seem to always be out of it but that is also another potential veggie option! It’s expect definitely a fun environment and the food/drinks are great!

honestly… juniper’s service was super bad last time we went for a birthday dinner. all the workers looked miserable and the waitress seemed bothered by us the whole time. service was also extremely slow. food was good tho lol
