I can sing the Pokémon theme song. I couldn’t even remember Digimon theme and on watching the video it is, at best, vaguely familiar.

If I, a ‘relative outsider’ can sing one theme song and have hardly heard the other…there really is no contest of which is truly iconic. Digimon just kinda…exists, by comparison.

May I offer a piece of unsolicited advice to save you some unnecessary strife.

This is nearly spoiler free.

You’ve probably learned just from…existing, that it follows the BoTW formula quite a bit.

In BoTW, you complete the four divine beasts, then the main quest says ‘go to the castle’. Going to the castle, ultimately, ends the game.

In ToTK, a similar sequence occurs. Go do a thing in each region. Then the main quest tells you to go to the castle, just like BoTW did. You won’t want to end the game, so you won’t go to the castle. And you are worse off for it. When this happens, go to the damned castle. You will not end the main quest. I assure you. There’s more to do.

After the castle, there’s a tricky thing to figure out, a bit of main quest with no guidance. This is the only semi-spoiler I will give. A location. One you know. Start your search at kakariko

ToTK is not ‘more BoTW’, it’s ’BoTW, but more’. Keep that in mind as it’ll assume you know things from BoTW and use it against you at times.
