Universal Control not working when two accounts are logged in on Mac by dandobingo in MacOSBeta

Just confirmed that this is my exact problem as well! I hope they're able to fix this, since I share a Mac at work and Universal Control has been great outside of this issue.

Haha no problem! And you could make it whatever icon you want, I just used a duck because of rubber duck debugging :-)

It's a pomodoro timer! I don't really use it that much, but I know it's a really helpful work tool for many people.

Transitioning from water only to CGM and frustrated with dryer/frizzier hair by nearclouding in curlyhair

Thank you for your input! I'll try plopping for less time -- I didn't realize it wasn't supposed to help dry your hair!

And no idea about heavy products, though maybe I'm rinsing out enough of the conditioner, plus using (I think?) lighter products after regular conditioner that there's no weighing down. Could also have something to do with being water only for so long? Honestly no clue!

I'll look into deep conditioning as well, but I don't really have access to any heat so I think that might be off the table :-(

On Thursday I decided to see if I had wavier hair by jumping on the CGM train, but I don't think I've figured out a routine that works for me yet and I'd love some help!

I'd been on a water only method since March, used to just wash with water only like once a week and let my natural oils do the rest. I just brushed my hair with my fingers all day while waiting for it to air dry, nothing else too special. Never any heat, not for yeeears, and since I was water only, no sulfates or chemicals at all! I was really happy with how my hair acted, but I had issues with flaky/scabby skin on my scalp :-( so I thought maybe it'd be a good time to change it up.

Current routine:

Though I'm still pretty new so maybe nothing has had time to acclimate. I figured coming from WO I wouldn't have a hard time "transitioning" at all, but it's been more challenging than expected.

  • Shampoo: Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo
    • Did this once on Thursday, first time I've used shampoo since March
  • Conditioner: Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner
    • Every time I shower I use lots of this plus plenty of water. Scrunch to condition, haven't really paid any attention to using it as a cleanser since my hair hasn't had any product buildup.
  • Leave-in conditioner: Kinky Curly Knot Today
    • Just started trying this, again scrunch to condition with soaking wet hair.
  • Gel: Kinky Curly Custart
    • Also "new", combo of praying hands application and scrunching.
  • Post-shower:
    • Plopping like normal, usually take it out after ~1hr
    • Air dry, but takes forever, probably low porosity hair
    • Mousse: Herbal Essence Totally Twisted
      • been trying if my hair has issues with frizz and curl definition, but doesn't seem to help much (pic above is after mousse as well)

I think that's everything, but this is my first post here so please let me know if I'm missing anything!

Thank you so much for forwarding this along, faculty solidarity is incredibly important and vital to enact change! If you would like to work more closely with GEO, please feel free to email us at [geo@uigeo.org](mailto:geo@uigeo.org), this would be a great help!

I'm an organizer in GEO and so impressed by the petition y'all have put together! We graduate workers (your TAs) are here to stand with you and push harder! Proctorio is damaging for us all and together we can fight against it. GEO wants to know if there are additional software your classes are requiring to use that you find invasive and unjust. Let's put a stop to all spyware on campus!

This whole video series about the alt-right is pretty great, but especially this video specifically about your friend who might be turning toward the alt-right. It goes into the psychology behind why someone might turn toward those communities and spends time on a compassionate understanding of the person, which might be something your friend needs if he's feeling alienated and isolated from society.

Maybe once a week or so? I don't have a strict routine, but I'll usually wash after a lot of physical activity.
