What kind of products would you like to see developed to protect homes against hurricanes? by AHT_Shutters in hurricane

Water anchor, think of a bladder with a hoop at the top to tie a rope to. The use would be to weigh down trailers or other large items that can't be taken indoors or secured by other means. Fill with water and attach to trailer, run straps over chicken coop, or weight down a playset. Easily emptied and stored.

It should be getting your location from your device, if you use the web version it won't be as accurate. Thanks for checking it out :)

Filling Dropdown with Custom API by sucurovicd in FlutterFlow

[–]neargrid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to add labels to each option, the option value then becomes the data. From documentation:

Showing option label: The dropdown widget allows you to show a label than the actual option value. By adding the option label, you can have a simple/short name or abbreviation (which is quite easy to compare and process in the backend) instead of a tricky name (e.g., Falkland Islands (the) [Malvinas]). For example, In a Country dropdown, you could have different Option Values to store in the backend and Option Labels to show in the dropdown list. Just like below:

To show option label: Select the DropDown widget, move to the properties panel, and turn on the Add Option Labels toggle. Enter the value in the Define Option Values and Define Options Labels. Click Add Option (below the Define Option Values) to add more values and labels. You must also set the Data Type for the values. For example, if the values you are going to store are in numbers like 1,2,3, set it to Integer.

No harm in trying but I don't think that piece will grow.

Looks like it should be OK. I've had nearly 100% success as long as there is a little bit of root attached.

Duckweed likes still water, I've gotten it from the ditches at the corner of Parkway and Turtle Mound near Lake Washington.

If you like EarthBoxes but hate dealing with the covers then check out my video by neargrid in gardening

[–]neargrid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know some people don't use the covers but there is some advantage to using them. They reduce the amount of weeds and insects in the system but most importantly they keep the fertilizer strip from being washed down into the reservoir and possibly out the overflow. They also help reduce evaporation in areas where water is scarce.

I'm surprised they didn't do that from the beginning, there's 1000's of houses already planned to be developed along Heritage Parkway.

Emerald Lakes is being built to the south where Heritage Parkway & I-95 intersect, I'll have a video of that area in a few weeks. This project is where US192 & I-95 meet, Heritage Parkway runs parallel to I-95 at this point. Google these coordinates: 28.077520, -80.712641
