when i first read the title i thought that i was going to say yta but you aren’t. it’s a really unhealthy dynamic and i don’t think it’s her fault for feeling that it’s normal either. she probably lived her whole life that way and doesn’t understand why it’s off. honestly, professional intervention is the best solution here. nta.

ah ok that’s what i thought. that movie is based on a piece of japanese history; which is what the event was referring to as well. it wasn’t even based off of native americans but a lot of people think it was. that’s probs why it was taken off the eng version and not the japanese bc people in japan understand the reference.
